With the backing of funding from Regency Assurance and in partnership with the Department of Youth in Nevis; Miss Yahsulazie Flanders-Grant successfully launched Signed With Love; a creative workshop designed to empower students with disabilities through hands-on artistic expression.
Driven by a passion for creativity and inclusion, Miss Flanders-Grant, a graphic design entrepreneur and Youth Impact 12 Award recipient in the field of Youth in Entrepreneurship, created the program to showcase and nurture the talents of students at the Cecele Browne Integrated School.
The program, co-facilitated by Mrs. Jevon Dyer B.A. Fine Arts, uses visual and kinetic art techniques to inspire self-expression, build confidence, and cultivate practical skills that can lead to future entrepreneurial opportunities. It brings paper artistry to life and gives students a platform to explore and celebrate their creative potential.
Miss Flanders-Grant, founder of the design business Suelaycie Edits, has long been an advocate for youth empowerment through the arts. Her work in graphic design, mentorship, and community engagement continues to leave a lasting impact across Nevis and beyond.
This initiative directly supports the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, which calls for inclusive and equitable quality education, and the promotion of lifelong learning and economic opportunity for all. By supporting Signed With Love, Regency Assurance reinforces its commitment to this global vision for an inclusive, empowered, and sustainable future.
Kate Tebbet, Head of Community Engagement at Regency Assurance, said: “We are proud to support Miss Flanders-Grant and this meaningful initiative. Her program highlights the power of creativity in building a more inclusive and empowered future for all.”
Regency Assurance remains committed to supporting youth-focused programs that unlock potential, foster innovation, and help young people thrive in their communities.
